Early on, Michael’s mother and teachers, at Holy Ghost School, instilled in him a passion for the written word. He became a voracious reader and excelled academically. He was first published, as a fourth-grader, when an essay he had written about Pearl Harbor was published in the local newspaper. His love of books and the quest to write one continued into adulthood.
Today, Michael’s home is on one of the rocky tree-studded hills surrounding Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri. He lives there with his partner, Christine, her daughter Valerie, a rather large German Shepherd, two small yet fearless Boston Terriers and a laid back cat.
Michael feels writing a novel has been one of the most difficult and satisfying adventures of his life; and, he looks forward to penning another.
